When you have 20 accounts ranging from social media to video streaming services to your electric company, it can be hard to remember each unique password. To solve this problem, consider obtaining password manager software. This software is specifically designed to help you keep track of all your different passwords. While this software requires a password itself, remembering that one is much easier than remember the other 20 or so you have. As an added bonus, these programs can generate passwords for you that are made to be complicated and unique to you. ## 2-Factor Authentication Making your password long and complicated is a great way to help you stay protected, but it does not grant you immunity. People who figure it out will still have access to your accounts. A great way to prevent infiltration is to create another layer of security in addition to your password. The extra layer of security usually involves something like sending a randomly generated code to your cell phone that expires within a short period of time.
